you're just my typeSatyr could easily afford to buy a car that didn’t break down. Satyr could probably buy some of the world’s most expensive cars, if he really wanted to. He had the money to throw around. Luxury goods didn’t appeal to Satyr, regardless of how much money he had. He didn’t exactly call himself anti-establishment, but it made a lot more sense to him to pay people who needed to sell their cars than to give money back to corporations who just looked to screw people--not to mention how bad they were for the planet. Satyr may have looked like a hippie tree hugger type person, but he wasn’t exactly that either. He just wanted to be able to breathe without choking to death on car exhaust.As it was, he wound up buying cars from people on Craigslist. It was his way to share the wealth, as it were, since it wasn’t doing him very good just sitting in an account somewhere. Not everybody was as subtly good natured as he was, though, so sometimes the cars wound up being duds, which was why this afternoon he found himself pulling into a garage to get work done on the car he used most often. It was making some ridiculous sounds lately, and the steering wheel felt worryingly ineffective half the time, so he had a feeling it was going to take a bit of work to put it back into working shape.The garage was pretty seedy looking. There weren’t many people there, just a bunch of cars in bang-up shape. Satyr parked outside and stepped into the office space, keys in hand, trying to find somebody to talk to in what felt like the ghost town of garages. tag:@cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }

He didn't really care about them, didn't take stock of what they looked like or how they acted. Unless they were real dicks. And Cillian had punched more than one asshole customer. It might have been bad for business. But he was one of the few locally owned mechanics around. That offered affordable prices, honest work, and doing everything on time. He took pride in what he did, it was about all he had. His garage and his shitty apartment above it. The only good part about the job was the cars. Cillian was one of those people who appreciated any car. The classics were, of course, his favorites, but he'd enjoy working on a shitty old beat up suburban anytime. He really should have hired a secretary or something, but didn't have the money to pay anyone that kind of shit. He wasn't good with the customers, at all. It certainly didn't go without trying, but Cill simply wasn't a people person. The bell above his door jingled when Cillian was torso-deep in the motor of a car. It took him a moment to get himself out without losing what he was doing, rubbing absently at oil that had spread up his neck and over his white tank top. Not the best color for working with cars, but Cillian didn't really care. The guy didn't seem familiar, like a return customer in his head. Cill gave him a cursory once over, noting how....stupid he looked. Headband, too thin, stupid pants. Looking about as lost as he could, standing in the office. "What can I do for you?" no hello, no how are you. Cillian wasn't going to waste his time with those when this guy was already pissing him off. @satyr c. young

you're just my typeThe guy who appeared in the garage was the precise opposite of what Satyr was expecting. Thin, smooth, covered in tattoos of something pastel and having petals. He had sort of been expecting someone a little older, balder, fatter. Someone less...well, Satyr didn’t want to say attractive, but fuckable might have sufficed. The idea wasn’t immediate, exactly, but it didn’t take terribly long to cross his mind. He did, though, have enough sense to at least get what he came for--which wasn’t the guy himself, but the work he could do on the malfunctioning car.“Car’s not working right,” he said, an obvious answer to an obvious question. “There’s been a weird noise coming from somewhere underneath it, and the steering’s been off…” He didn’t know exactly what he was talking about as far as cars went, didn’t know anything about carburetors or belts or any of that, but he supposed that was what this twink kid was there for, right? It was his job to know the answers to questions like that. tag: @cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }

Pretty in a way that made Cill want to fuck him. He'd kept his once over subtle, but Cillian was perceptive. Good at taking in his surroundings. He already had to bite back a remark about how, duh, he was there cause his car wasn't working. At least he wasn't just there to ask for directions. "You can pull 'er in the garage," Cillian muttered, accent thick on his tongue. "I'll give 'er the once over, give you a quote, then we can go from there," simple enough, really. Cillian waited till the guy left before he made his way back to the garage.The main spot was open, Cillian was only working on the one other car and he'd pulled it into the extra spot. He didn't have a lot of space, to be honest. Sometimes he had to schedule people to come in later, but generally, it worked alright. He could fit three cars in the garage, tops. He'd opened the door and waited for the guy to pull in, taking a careful look at the tires alignment. Without much of a word, just as the guy got out, Cillian scooted under the car on his creeper. "This'll just take a sec," he muttered, looking around and doing car things. In a few minutes, he rolled back out again."So your alignments out, that much's obvious. That's gonna be 'round one thirty, one forty," he started, crossing his arms over his chest (and effectively showing off his muscles and tattoos). "Your front axel might be damaged too, is the 'strange noise' a clicking or something else? If the axels off, that'll add 'nother one seventy. So you'd be lookin maybe 'round three ten in total. I can bump 'er down to three hundred, though," haggling was a little bit part of the business. It wasn't a big deal. The math might be different in the end, but Cillian tended to give first-time customers a bit of a deal. It made them more likely to come back. @satyr c. young

you're just my typeSatyr moved his car into the garage as he was told, all the while his mind far more focused on the mechanic than the car that needed work done on it. Whatever was wrong, Satyr hoped it would take a long time to fix, so that he could be around to stare at the guy for longer. He had a feeling that he’d be having a lot more car trouble in the future.Even working in a sex shop and being around people in a weirdly sexual way all the time, it wasn’t actually very much like Satyr to be thinking along these lines, especially not when the other person was just trying to do their job. The mechanic was there to fix cars, not for him to be lusting after. Still, Satyr found his mind wandering far past wrenches and oil or whatever other shit would be needed to put his car into working shape, and instead imagining the sorts of things he could do with this guy out of his greasy jeans.Knowing that he was just doing his job didn’t help him from feeling like the guy was showing off as he crossed his arms, flexing his muscles. It almost felt like a challenge. Maybe that was just what he wanted to read it as, but Satyr was going to let himself believe it, if only as some sort of entertainment. After all, waiting for your car to be fixed had to be one of the most boring activities there was, so he needed something to entertain himself, even if it was all in his head.“It’s a clicking, yeah,” he said, not caring at all about the price. Three hundred dollars was nothing to him, as much as he didn’t act like it. “How long do you think it’ll take to fix?” tag: @cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }

But usually, they were middle-aged women or old balding men. Kids his age never came in, maybe they couldn't afford cars or daddy paid for a corporate mechanic or what fuck all. At the very least this hippy was responsible. "'could probably fix your alignment today, easy," he said with a shrug. "But the axel's gonna take longer. I gotta order in a part, and usually, that takes a few weeks. But...for this model, I don't know if they sell 'em anymore," the car was definitely old, and not in the classic sort of way. A junker, no doubt. "I'd probably have to pick through a junkyard to find something useable, to be honest with 'ye. So could be a week, could be more," he kicked at the ground aimlessly. you're just my type“300 dollars for a week of repairs? How are you even in business?” Though, looking around the place, it was hard to say ‘in-business,’ really. There was one other car in the place, and it looked fine. Could’ve even been the mechanic’s own car, for all he knew. “That feels like so much effort for a piece of shit car like this, don’t you think?” Satyr had more than enough means to just buy another vehicle. He kicked at a tire for emphasis, feeling like it was hardly worth it, and that perhaps a better stop would have been the junkyard to begin with. Still, if he had done that, he wouldn’t have ever seen this guy, which would have been….regrettable.“Is there anything I can do to make it happen faster? Pay for rush shipping or something?” Satyr had wanted the repairs to take a while, maybe, so that he could stick around and watch the mechanic work. But sitting at home for a week waiting for a part to arrive was bullshit. The car wasn’t worth the wait, and Satyr wouldn’t get any closer to what he really wanted from this guy by sitting at home. tag: @cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }

you're just my typeIt just wasn’t worth the effort for a car this crap to take over a week to get fixed. Satyr, in that case, would have either sold or gifted the car to the mechanic if he wanted it, or he would have taken it to the junkyard of the mechanic’s choice to get it harvested for scrap parts. A week of repairs for a car like this made about as much sense to Satyr as installing a solid gold toilet in an apartment in the projects. It just wasn’t worth it, it made no sense. The only thing that kept him there was lust for the mechanic himself. Regardless of what happened with the car, he still wanted to fuck the mechanic. Maybe that sounded pathetic, but he really didn’t want to leave without having checked that off his list. He wasn’t even fazed by the biting comment the mechanic made about wanting the car fixed, but merely agreed to wait as the guy made a call. He stood against the side of his car, looking towards the office where the mechanic had disappeared, waiting for him to show up again, thinking about him in unspeakable ways.He reappeared with a much better deal, in Satyr’s opinion. “Sounds perfect, let’s do that.” Two hours wasn’t too long to wait, and there’d probably be a decent view, watching the guy work. And then, well, there was that hour in there where they’d be waiting for the part. That was full of possibility. He didn’t even let the mechanic’s apparent bad mood bother him. He was getting paid more than enough money, he shouldn’t be bitter at the moment. “I’ll just wait here, yeah? Got nowhere else to be, and no way to get there anyways.” He had a feeling this would annoy the mechanic, but part of him felt that made it all the more appealing. Somehow Satyr was enjoying the prospect of getting under his skin. tag: @cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }

Plus, he'd had to haul the wheels of the car off, put the new axle in place. It was a lot of work. Cillian had noticed the asshole customer hadn't sat in the office like he'd asked. Instead just in the garage, silently playing around on his phone. Fucking kids and their fucking phones. Whatever. He didn't try to make conversation, and neither did Cillian. Just focused on his work. Didn't glance over at the guy a few times, eyes trailing over his (scrawny) body. "'Kay, I'm all finished here," he said, wiping off his forehead and turning from the car. "I take cash or cheques. But if it fu- It best not bounce, though," he stopped himself before he swore (though the guy had heard him multiple times). @satyr c. young

you're just my typeSatyr had determined that if he genuinely wanted to get in this guy’s pants, it was best not to piss him off too bad, and that meant keeping to himself while the guy was working, as badly as he had wanted to shove him up against a car door while watching him work under the hood. No, he behaved, he kept himself entertained for the three hours the mechanic was working. He had wandered a bit, looking around at the few things scattered through the garage, reading posters on the wall, finding a certificate that gave the garage permission to run. From this he learned the mechanic’s name was Cillian, which explained his ridiculous fucking Irish accent. If it hadn’t been for that damn accent, Satyr might have thought he was too attractive to be true. Well, perfection really couldn’t exist, and he supposed that was why he had the obnoxious accent and shitass personality. The guy hadn’t done anything terribly offensive thus far, but that was behind the facade of customer service. Satyr could tell there was a lot more just below the surface, waiting to tell him to fuck off. Whatever. They didn’t have to like each other.When Cillian finished, Satyr was seated in a chair not far from where Cillian was working, scrolling through his phone. He looked up when he heard him speak, stowing his phone away and walking over to meet the mechanic where he was. “Why would I have agreed to pay you if I was just gonna let the check bounce?” he asked, not actually expecting to get an answer. “What kind of guy do I look like?” tag: @cillian t. keyesBY MITZI /*** ACCENT ***/ .pouring b { color: #E43FBF; } .pouring { background:#E43FBF; } .pouring { width: 450px; height: 350px; border-radius: 5px; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; } .pouring .left { width: 200px; height: 350px; float: left; } .pouring .right { width: 250px; height: 350px; float: left; background: #F4F4F4; } .pouring .left img { width: 100px; border-radius: 50%; margin: 20px; border: solid 15px rgba(0,0,0,.1); } .pouring h1 { color: #fff; font: 20px/20px montserrat; margin: 15px; } .pouring .dash { width: 15px; height: 3px; background: #fff; } .pouring h2 { font: 10px/10px montserrat; color: #fff; margin: 0px; opacity: .7; float: left; text-align: left; margin-top: -30px; position: relative; z-index: 200; width: 200px; text-align: center; } .pouring .over { background: #fff; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB; margin: 20px; padding: 20px; color: #000; } .pouring .over b { font-size: 13px; } .pouring .scroll { height: 270px; overflow: auto; padding-right: 5px; margin-right: -5px; font: 10px/13px helvetica neue, arial; text-align: justify; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 7px!important; border-radius: 7px!important; background: #fff!important; } .pouring .scroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { border-radius: 5px!important; background: #F4F4F4!important; border: solid 1px #EBEBEB!important; }
